Taking a Look Inside: vCom’s Second Annual Employee Summit

February 23, 2015

Last year we transformed our annual company meeting into an Employee Summit. We wanted to focus our attention on our other customers: our employees. Like the Customer Summit, we dedicated time and resources to provide a company update highlighting successes and challenges; to review our solution roadmap; and to share our goals for the coming year. We also took advantage of having all employees present to do some team building via breakout sessions that helped us explore how we can be a better company to not only our employees, but to our customers.

The feedback following the Employee Summit was great, and we’ve been taking actions following the 2014 Employee Summit to help improve both the employee experience and the customer experience, primarily through a focus on training. We’ve increased internal training and opened a training center at our offices in San Ramon, and we’ll be rolling out some increased technical training for our customers shortly.

To maintain the momentum, we’ll be holding our second Employee Summit on February 26, 2015 in the East Bay. We’ll be closing our offices from 11:30 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. Pacific Time so that all employees can participate and enjoy the full experience of learning, sharing, and discovery. In case of emergencies or outages, we will have a skeleton crew available for technical support at 800-804-VCOM, option 3.
