Paper telecom invoices account for the loss of millions of trees yearly. Carriers typically send multiple invoices, by location or product, as opposed a single invoice for all services, for all locations. Some do not give the customer the option of suppressing details, which results in a lot of waste.
By using vCom, customers eliminate countless pages of paper invoices each month. To thank our customers, vCom has partnered with American Forests Global ReLeaf program to plant a tree this Earth Day in honor or each customer. The trees will be planted as part of the Venture Fire Interplant project.
The project goal is to plant 25,000 Ponderosa pine trees in the Shasta-Trinity National Forest near Burney, California. In 2008, fires destroyed this forestland, and this planting project will aid in long-term watershed recovery and soil stabilization by re-establishing the forest vegetation.
