vCom Buyers’ Club rebranded as QuantumShift™ by vCom
vCom Solutions, a leader in delivering innovative IT spend management software and managed services to businesses across the U.S. today announced the rebranding of its Buyers’ Club division to QuantumShift™by vCom. vCom also announced the hiring of industry veteran and former AT&T General Manager Steve Hannel as Vice President and General Manager of the rebranded division.
QuantumShift by vCom offers organizations and IT clients three distinct benefits: Aggregation—leveraging the buying power of vCom’s SMB, Mid-Market, and Enterprise customers to provide superior discounts on IT products and services; Consolidation—grouping multiple vendors, technologies, and charges on its single invoice and under its management; and Normalization—eliminating invoice and bill payment confusion with consistent, understandable language. QuantumShift by vCom is also powered by best-of-breed tools and deep integration with vCom’s award-winning software platform, vManager.
“For 20 years, vCom’s Buyers’ Club has offered our customers a unique way to manage the lifecycle of their IT environment and ease the day-to-day burden on IT and Finance staff,” said Sameer Hilal, Chief Operating Officer of vCom. “We believe that the new branding is consistent with this shift from conventional methods of managing IT assets and spend.”
Mr. Hannel, who will lead Sales, Vendor, and Product Management for QuantumShift by vCom, brings a wealth of experience in the service provider and aggregator space. He helped launch AT&T’s Partner Exchange Program, enabling solution providers and resellers, and leading a nationwide team managing $300M+ in revenue across network, mobile, hardware, and cloud security products. He helped develop and build a strategy that would leverage the channel to take a $0 business to almost $1B.
“Steve is known for his customer-centric approach and his ability to build and lead high performing teams,” said Hilal. “We’re thrilled to have him onboard and to gain his creativity, collaboration, and his ability to deliver sustainable revenue growth to QuantumShift by vCom.”
Hannel will also aid vCom as it launches a channel offering in the coming months, to capitalize on record sales and customer adoption from the past 18 months.
“I’ve had the pleasure of working with the vCom team as a Platinum AT&T partner for years and have always been impressed by the uniqueness of the business model,” said Hannel. “I look forward to helping expand this dynamic organization dedicated to improving IT spend management with a great platform and innovative products and services.”
QuantumShift by vCom differentiates itself from other players in the market through a unique combination of technology and services:
- QuantumShift by vCom brings the strength of aggregated buying power and the consolidation of hundreds of vendors and technologies across all 6 primary categories of IT spend: Network, Mobile, Hardware, Collaboration, SaaS, and Cloud. While other aggregator solutions may focus on a subset of technologies—forcing customers into a piecemeal solution—QuantumShift by vCom provides the benefits of singular access and normalization, in addition to the consolidation of bill payment, vendor dispute management, and CapEx to OpEx migration, to help customers save time and money.
- QuantumShift by vCom offers comprehensive lifecycle management capabilities. Fully integrated with vManager, customers gain a single platform to shop for, compare, and buy IT solutions; track orders, assets, and tickets with real-time updates; view and pay their consolidated invoices; automate cost allocation of IT charges; and leverage hundreds of reports to maintain their environment.
- QuantumShift by vCom is 100% vendor and technology agnostic. Customers are in the driver’s seat; they can choose any provider or technology to build a best-of-breed IT environment, with no minimums, industry-leading terms, month-to-month contracts, and cross-provider optimization—all from a single partner, with full transparency.
“Over the past few years, we’ve invested heavily in onboarding new products and vendors, including Microsoft, Cisco, VMware, and OKTA, to further enhance our portfolio and ensure we can deliver the most innovative solutions to our clients,” says Hilal. “Steve will work alongside a focused team of leaders to help us grow QuantumShift by vCom and share the benefits of Aggregation, Consolidation, and Normalization with a larger community of customers.”
